Most of my life I’ve lived right down the street from this old bridge, and for some reason never used it for a photo shoot. Last month I was asked about doing a joint shoot with two families, and this bridge was specifically requested. Of course I said it was a great idea!

The first family I bring to you from that shoot is the Norris family.  I’ve gotten to know Lee and Carla over the last couple of years, but this was the first time I got to work with them and shoot pictures.  The kids were stylin’ and they were all naturally super photogenic so we ended up getting some great shots!

For my next #TBT of shoots that slipped through and never got blogged, I bring to you the Stokes Wedding!  Sarah and Michael were introduced to me through another couple whose wedding I shot.  I knew that if Sarah and Michael were anything like their friends, they were going to be awesome, and I was right!  Such a sweet couple, and they really knew how to put together a gorgeous wedding.  They had clearly given so much thought to every little detail, and it showed.  I just hoped that I did this perfect day justice with my pictures!

These guys are regulars here on the blog and I love having them!  I’ve been working with Josh and Rachael long before Lincoln came to add some fun to the family. Although they have moved away due to Josh’s job at the Coast Gaurd, they always try to make a point to have me take some pictures while they are in town for the holidays.  I love seeing them grow as a family every year and it’s always a great excuse to hang out and see these guys before they have to hit the road back home!

I’ve said this many times before, but one of my favorite parts of this job is getting to, in a way, be a part of huge life moments for my clients/friends.  With Josh and Carey, I got to be part of their engagements, her Bridals, then their Wedding, and now their little Maddie hits the big 01! I couldn’t get over how adorable and chill Maddie was throughout the shoot. She has so many cute faces and all of them are twinning with her dad.  This is such a cool family and I always love getting to hang with them no matter what the occasion is!

As I have mentioned a few times before, I’m a little behind on my blogging…and by a little, I mean a lot.  So I’m making Thursdays my time to share some of my #TBT shoots that for whatever reason, slipped through and never got posted!

For this #TBT, we go back to last September when I had the honor of getting to shoot a wedding for an old 4-H friend of mine.  I haven’t seen Heidi in years so it was great getting to catch up with her and see some other old friends that made it to her wedding.  It was a beautiful wedding with lots of smiles and close friends surrounding them throughout their day.  They had a huge and loving support group that made their day go by perfectly!

At the end of the day, my second shooter snuck off with them while I was packing up and got these amazing shots!
